Queen of Hearts "Josie" | BreyerFest 2021 Limited Edition
While Queen of Hearts looked every bit the typical bay warmblood on her right side, it’s her left side that turned quite a few heads! "Josie's" left side was covered in unique white brindle markings that resemble stripes. These markings may have been the result of her being a "chimera," which occurs when two non-identical embryos fuse together in utero.
Josie joined us as one of our special guest horses at BreyerFest 2021: Horse of a Different Color, and this portrait model was offered among our Limited Edition items that year. This model has a matte finish.
