Brezel (glossy silver bay) is named in honor of this iconic food that is a staple at festivals throughout Germany. The symbol of the Pretzel has been used by the Bakers’ Guild in Germany since the 12th century and these tasty treats come in an infinite number of shapes, sizes, flavors, and densities.
Spaetzle (palomino pinto) is named after a popular Oktoberfest pasta dish. Originating from the south western parts of Germany, this simple yet delicious dish is perfect alone or as a side and is served in a variety of ways.
Lakritz (glossy dapple grey) is named after one of Germany's most popular candies: licorice. At Oktoberfest, you are bound to come across many varieties of licorice - even beer!
Doppelbock (light bay) is named after a popular German beer. Doppel means "double" in German, meaning that Doppelbock is stronger than regular German bock beers. It ranges from a golden to dark brown color and is nicknamed “liquid bread," which is a nod to its origins when monks in Munich created this beer to be a meal replacement during lent.
