With exquisite new sculptures and finely detailed finishwork, each release in Breyer’s Premier Collection is a true celebration of equine artistry.
One of the most famous and recognizable Iberian breeds, the Andalusian is a versatile horse that excels in a variety of disciplines. First developed in the 15th century as a war horse prized by Spanish nobility, Andalusians still retain many of their regal traits from generations past. As they began reaching far beyond the Spanish peninsula, Andalusians quickly became beloved mounts across the equestrian world. In addition to dedicated breed shows, today they can be found in sports such as dressage, driving, and stock work. Their dramatic and almost fantastical looks have also made them a breed of choice for eye-catching horses in film and television.
In her third addition to Breyer’s Traditional scale lineup, artist Karen Gerhardt has sculpted Carmen as a carefree, rearing mare who would be equally comfortable playing in the ring or frolicking among a field of flowers. She oozes personality with her slightly-turned head as she prepares to land back down on the ground.
Most Andalusian horses are some shade of grey, and Carmen is no exception. In addition to sculpting, Karen also designed her dark dappled rose grey coat. As she ages this coat will eventually fade to near-white, but Carmen is captured as a young horse with her dapples in full bloom. Her detailed brown eyes breathe life into this spirited piece – an ideal Spanish horse worthy of dreams.

To join the Premier Club, you must have a valid 2026 Collector Club membership, and sign up online by 11:59pm EST on December 31, 2025, with a non-refundable deposit of $100.00. This program is a continuity club, which means you are obligated to purchase three exclusive models. Models will be $195.00 each, with free shipping on domestic orders. Canadian and International orders are plus shipping and handling. These will be billed when you purchase your models. Models ship in approximately May, August, and November 2026. Shipment dates may be affected due to circumstances outside of our control. Non-refundable $100 deposit due at signup, which will be deducted equally from the price of each model at the time of billing ($33.34/model). When models are in stock and ready to ship, members will be notified via email with a link to complete their purchase online. NO other method of payment will be accepted. Failure to complete the required purchases means you will no longer be eligible to purchase future releases, enjoy other club benefits, and will forfeit your deposit and be removed from the Premier Club.
Please note: Reeves International, Inc. reserves the right to terminate any membership at any time and refund the applicable pro-rated deposit or membership amount. If member elects to cancel their membership, deposit and membership fees are non-refundable.
