Born in 2001, Brass Hat had a great career as a racehorse with more than $2 million in earnings from 40 starts, plus track records set at both Gulfstream Park and Churchill Downs. He has since become an ambassador for Kentucky’s Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance, which helps organizations to retire, retrain and rehome Thoroughbreds.
