Athenian Lady | BreyerFest 2024 Celebration Model
Athenian Lady's story is one of determination and triumph. Amanda Delgado first met the neglected and abused chestnut pinto mare in 2015, standing in the middle of a desolate pasture. But even as rough and starved as she looked, Amanda saw that the mare carried herself with a regal, strong, and graceful presence, and aptly named her after Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and war. A decade later, they have become decorated champions in the world of Western Dressage. Their achievements have not gone unrecognized - Athena was recently given the title of USEF 2025 National Horse of the Year!
